Naturally Collapsing

another generation lifted with hope
painting new murals of clouds raining on us
fair to all
planting organic and yelling out of love fashioned by hate
those rules don't fit us anymore
striping myself down by light
for the planet for the farmer for the food
i'll work with worth
not necessarily keeping step with order
of a hand shake or contract
finger guide and partner for now
texture for music and business on site
available to us daily.

across calendar days and Jefferson's ways
you may sift a word into a screen and then wait for your dream
new reason in freedom
blowing in the arts on bare breath and hair
i'll catch San Francisco's Golden Gate fair
since
congress is late with yesterday's date
collapsing by telephone, the cell is gone
ringing out another wet flood by street, a bucket
handed down consuming each fellow being,
stay with me. play with me. rattle and roll with me.
