Fire Dance

coconut muffins and sunshine
heat in the body
love pulling at me
with what sounds wake me
i slept on and on and on
until the sweat broke
i could not sharpen my position
balancing on one leg
taking his question and his stare
shaking for what would move
through me at a bargain price
48 hours
circling the abyss like a shark
i received his insisting
madness and sensual smile
my mind rolled sensitively
behind 105 degrees
grace put at arms distance
a door to seperate
the hour

Everywhere The Wings of Birds

with the pile of tree's stacked
with enormous branches reaching
to the next enormous pile of tree's
the ancient and innocent
size of the universe is felt here

all the fruits of the moisture wet
the skin
and the ways of rain
have planted animals on every
bed of color
at your ankle's
trailing the edge
and beyond

the scale of life is everywhere
kissing in emerald green
on the sweet of the leaves
and feet of the juvenile bird

White Path

pull my legs and arms in
stay circled by air and rubber
with the rapids
direction
white water
folding many times over
Christina
gives no interference
to the angular pounding
with her hand
light from afternoon sun
attuned me to observe her
way
least resistance to
natural force
engagement with time

Bikes In Guatemala

not only is it very delightful
and easy in cotton colors
the head peace
in laundry on a line
and passing
on motorcycle
picture is in
my mind
to
think about
Tikal
ball court

POLY -

canoe

come along friend

float down skin to water

in the rhythm down center

and hear the clinton's sanction
a cause
the cause of

obama

tonight

i remember the french group

ahead of my canoe the walls of the jungle
went by

to Cha Creek for drinks

at lunch under a rain storm
we took cover
without rushing

time to travel
by water and relax
get a new economic, energy and education
down little water
little earth
little people

Swimming At The River

was my bed and rock was my
pillow too
feeling so semi permanent
talking
recognize the people and place
revelation
it takes a revolution to move
side to side
forward
pulled my leg and wouldn't let go
a solution
coming sooner than
the river whispered with notice
like the bird in the tree
i flew right to him

KINKACHU

sounding the night
each pair follow the other pair
crackling and sensitive impression.
who's watching who in the moonlight?
you don't need to take my hand
everything may pass over the small one
look to the tree's
that breath on your neck is not
the Kinkachu
Bonnie
it is the predator,
the one the Kinkachu is
playing with.

Long Body Stripes

point to point green
hoping soon it would drop off
and
never checking with at&t
sideways down the rock walk
details found by eye are 'live'
sing on snake

TRANSPORT

letting myself go
letting myself go

letting go
cathy's voice
joel's call
alix's computer
nancy's cookies
zoran's friendship
roy's connection
kim's text
mom's reminder
jalil's email
and tonight's

Apple Jam

you don't want to lose me?
me her them
two bodies blasted in a single burst
nothing dared
nothing earned
my voice has lowered
the smile on my door broke
how does it feel
naked
you are simple as one hand
turning at the wheel
i've taken the pathway through an apple
looking through the moment
letting myself go
to Belize.

In Time

hanging on a string is waiting on a wall
upside down my tail bone
swinging from cloud to cloud
one kiss falls to the earth
and only one
will make the catch
with two hands
reaching for the golden ring
of the universe
my flesh hangs over a star
through a hole bodies
walk rib to rib
suspended in time
hanging on a string
waiting to fall

That Beep Beep Varoom Boom Sound

my thought bounced
landed and came back
returning after i told it
to never come back again
beep beep varoom boom
sounding landed next to
the turtle renting my socks
out of glitter and gold
i believed his word
later learning words are
for sale
sold and i landed back in
the market place
beep beep varoom boom
after much scrubbing and combing
the view outside my window
is the view inside my room
and when i am different
the earth will shake in tune with
the pains of our livers and sweating
blood of our blind hearts
beep beep varoom boom
