Protest In Stillness

hooded against hot and cold
water of the land felt the skin of my lip
enough time around a circle for insight
bleeding through my t-shirt a heart
saturated with human's speed
stillness holds protest
by seed
now seated in delay
calm handed and
curved for operation
with shakti rising
a dove will take the blue of my eyes
surmounting yesterdays faith
entrance
