yesterday evening my plant had a small party
to the night, voices were soft and agreeable
and how interested in love.
knowing onesleaf, the daughters of the god
found many mysteries
running through the spine of green fibers
matched the blood of her seedling and reared
by the heart of our sun.
possibility constantly makes the plant appear
in hallways and windows,
tall and conscious of light.
