A Path Is Opened

i am just as i was
with half of me left behind
and half of me walking forward
edge of my ears lifted
my fever would wipe the mirror
send me to the trees and i shall shed
a year or two from the past
cleanse my liver and bladder
in eyes of forest green
a path is opened
by an enlarged smile
a rock or two will get turned
the sun will breath in light
and justice will get kicked over
shaking the waters free
washing my bones
hand to hand:shadow and dream
rolling around another obstacle
sitting in the now
we feel the way we feel
most I and I.
