hands floating to a stream
the day put a sun in the sky
on foot with other prints in paw
traveled by word
i remember day dreaming and night visions
with things as they are
the arc of one eye
and with wish and bone
my body will stay afloat on breath
carried up by spirit and work
spine to skin
ordained to view the horizon
and advance through a fence of oppression
poised on two feet
