SUNRISE

the heart came out of its
cave
lifting outside my chest
i felt freedom
happy for the one
i love
happiness felt with
no expectation
strings
ownership or
regret
i just felt
happy for him
up and over
even the pain
i am happy for
the ache in my chest
is a miracle.
